BB > BB at Big Bend ~ The rock I'm sitting on reminded Moonie and I of the rock I posed on at the Desert Stonehenge at UTB so we stopped and took this photo. Seeing Big Bend was a truly wonderful experience for me and I became fascinated with the ancient volcanic orgins of this beautiful countryside.
BB > Info on Fins of Fire I just love these educational exhibit signs! I've learned to take close up shots of them and save myself a lot of note taking and future typing :)
BB > More Fins of Fire Info
BB > Okay now that that info pictures have shown how the Fins of Fire were formed so long ago, let's take a look at some of these awesome formations that dot the landscape of Big Bend.
BB > More Fins of Fire and a mountain with a very interesting almost breast like shape. Yes folks, BB managed to find yet another natural breast like formation.
BB > And even more Fins of Fire
BB > I loved this slightly hazey view of Big Bend. What struck both Moonie and I in this scene were the white bare patches on the mountains in front of us. Imagine the forces of nature that stripped parts of that mountain down to it's bare rock face.
